On 22nd February, the 2023 annual activity of the Expert Committee of Sichuan CCPIT & Sichuan Chamber of International Commerce was held in Chengdu. Wendy Wei, Regional Director of CUKBDC in Sichuan attended the event and was re-elected member of Expert Committee.
Sichuan CCPIT (Sichuan Chamber of International Commerce) expert committee has a total of 22 Chinese and foreign experts members, including 10 from colleges and universities, 2 from Think tank, 3 from industry organization, 2 from legal institution, 5 from overseas trade promotion agencies, which involving economy, finance, agriculture, automobile, convention and exhibition, law and international studies.
During her speech, Wendy Wei proposed to conduct filed research by having site visit to enterprises as well as second tier cities around Chengdu, jointly conducting standardized training and certification to promote local products exporting to UK and Europe, planning high-end economic and trade activities and outbound visit to UK.
Ms Huang Li, President of Sichuan CCPIT was present. In her conclusion, she stated that the expert committee is an important part of trade promotion. She hopes that the experts will pay more attention to trade promotion, contributing more wisdom, deeply participating in trade promotion activities. Sichuan CCPIT and Expert Committee will jointly contribute wisdom and strength to the expansion of high-level opening-up of Sichuan.
